Did you know? There are several mesh sizes for different uses

Fimurex Gabions offers several mesh sizes to best suit your project and give you the finest result. As you may already have noticed, some Fimurex products let you choose between several types of mesh. It is not always easy to picture the difference, but don’t worry! Fimurex Gabions is here to explain.

We mainly work with 3 mesh sizes:

10 x 5 cm mesh is the most classic mesh. It is used in the PRO range for our gabions, our retaining walls, our boundary walls and our stone cladding, as well as in the DECO range for our furniture and our cylindrical planter from Fimurex Gabions. Its large size gives it a cost advantage, and it is recommended when choosing a fill with a large stone size.

10 x 2.5 cm mesh is a mesh newly added to the PRO range. It can be chosen with our PRO gabions, and it is also used in the DECO range for our cylindrical planter, our privacy screens and our columns. This finer mesh allows you to choose a fill with a smaller stone size and saves time when filling (the fine mesh stops material from falling out).

5 x 5 cm mesh is a mesh specially designed for the Deco range. It is available with Deco gabions, square and rectangular planters and, finally, Fimurex Gabions furniture. Finer than 10 x 5 mesh yet regular, it allows a fine and original fill that is sure to bring real charm to your decor.
